New year, make yourself a new you.

New year, make yourself a new you.

With the New Year starting off all of us are trying to become better versions of ourselves. Why not make yourself better with a certificate from the American College of Healthcare and Technology? Here are some of the benefits that will come with your time and certificate from the American College of Healthcare and Technology.

Small classrooms. Unlike community college and universities that have classes that can range from 40-300 students, at the American College of Healthcare and Technology you will enjoy classes with other students that are in the same field as you, as well as hands-on help with teachers that you would not get in a bigger classroom

Setting up for your future career. At the American College of Healthcare and Technology, we set you up for your future career in the medical field. The classes you take will be similar to your first job in the field, scrubs are worn and a schedule is followed. During your time at the school, you will go out on assignment to a real medical facility to get hands-on experience with the skills you learn while training. After you earn your certificate, the career center will help you find a job in the field you choose.

Most certificates only take 8 months. Unlike community college and universities where it takes two years to get an associate’s degree or four years to get bachelor’s degree, at the American College of Healthcare and Technology, a certificate can be earned in just 8 months for nearly all our programs, and 16 months for the surgical tech program. Unlike other colleges where you have to deal with general ed classes that are hard to get into and have nothing to do with your major, all the classes you take at the American College of Healthcare and Technology directly help you in your future career. Externship training is included, which unlike traditional colleges provides experience in the program you choose.

Seven different programs to choose from. At the American College of Healthcare and Technology, there are not just a couple of programs to choose from. We have seven different programs from all spectrums of the medical field. If you want to work hands on with patients or animals, we offer surgery technician, physical therapy, and massage therapist, veterinary, medical and dental assistant programs. If working in an office is more your niche, medical billing and coding program would be more appropriate. If you want to work with medicine itself and keep patients happy and healthy Pharmacy tech may be the program for you.
