Key Features
Course Description:
This course expands trainees’ capabilities beyond the limitations of the generic content provided within Autodesk Revit. It is designed to build upon the modeling experience students have already developed and help them augment and customize their own Revit toolsets.
The course includes an in-depth examination of how to create and manage project templates, as well as how to use projects as resource repositories. Students will learn how to add value and functionality to projects through schedules, including techniques for creating sophisticated schedules that address the unique challenges and demands of today’s complex construction environment.
Using the tools introduced in the first part of the course, students will learn how to tailor families to their specific needs. Instruction covers a broad range of family types—including System Families, Component Families, and more—and extends across Architectural, MEP, and Structural disciplines.
This course provides the next level of added value for users who already possess day-to-day modeling experience and understand the unique needs of their employers for virtual assets, content libraries, and project resources.
