Duration: 100 Hours
Prerequisite: Basic knowledge in Structures or construction drawing.

Materials Provided: Book and Software (student version)

Methods of Instruction: Lecture, Reading, Hands-on assignments, and projects (trainees are encouraged if allowed, to bring actual work projects).

Key Features

  • Teaches you Building Information Modeling (BIM) with Autodesk Revit
  • Shows you how to create, document and print parametric models
  • Takes you through the basics of a full structural project
  • Covers many different building types

Course Description:

To take full advantage of Building Information Modeling (BIM), Autodesk Revit Structure Fundamentals is designed to teach the concepts and principles of creating 3D parametric models of structural buildings, from engineering design through construction documentation. This learning guide introduces the user interface and the fundamental building components of the software, making it a powerful and flexible structural modeling tool.

The goal of the course is to familiarize students with the tools required to create, modify, analyze, and document a parametric structural model. The examples and practice exercises guide participants through the development of a complete structural project, from linking an architectural model to producing construction documents.

Students will gain the skills necessary to perform essential Revit Structure tasks when starting new projects or working on existing Revit-based projects, including model development, sheet set creation, and project documentation.

* Certificate of completion will be awarded
